Laura O’Byrne is the co-founder of Physio Therapy Singapore Collective, alongside Aruna Vijaya Ratnam. Laura graduated from the University of Nottingham, in 2010, with a Bachelor of Science (BSc. Hons) in Physiotherapy, after having completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Health Science & Physiology), in 2007. She has been practicing in Singapore, since 2012, in both public and private sectors.
Her varied experience to date has led Laura to develop a strong interest in women’s health, supporting women through the different stages of life, with a particular focus on pre- and post-natal care, as well as issues faced by women during peri-menopause and post-menopause. She also has extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, helping patients as they recover from injury and return to optimal function.
Her clinical approach is further complemented by a specialised interest in scar rehabilitation and lymphatic health, where she integrates evidence-based techniques to support healing, reduce pain and improve overall tissue function.
Laura is acknowledged for her thoughtful, personalised approach to healthcare, combining clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the body to help her patients feel stronger, more confident and well-supported in their recovery.
